Fuzzy Lizzard Jewels: The Things Writer’s Block Makes

One of my methods for combating writers block is to do something else creative. Lately that has been working with clay. It’s very meditative. It also allows me to make up little stories about the weird shit I sculpt. Most of it becomes some type of jewelry. Here is a small gallery of my latest jewels created out of a creative recession.

I am hoping to market the zombie toes. Let me know if you want one.

This is Sebastian, he's new in town. And loves to party. Disco Party Cthulhu -the undead party chaos deity Disco Cthulhu -for all those under the sea night club adventures The Chaos Eater -when you can't find a vacuum big enough to suck out the drama of someone else's bullshit The Fear Eater -sucking the fear out of your next adventure in the unknown Toe of Zombie -when casting spells calls for more than just an ordinary piece of the undead Olive The Occult Octopus Muse -inspiring sexy stories that have never been told before Ollie Lee the Occult Octopus -inspiring stories of epic journeys and heroic feats Odette the Occult Octopus -made as a gift for a friend. Oren the Occult Octopus -made as a gift for a friend. Unicorn Horns -for when you need extra concentrated magic Half a Mind -for when you have half a mind to do something, this will provide the other half to get it done

“Invasion Invocation”

The latest art of the lizzard. I’m on a flying saucer and magic kick. Also, a prize* to anyone who can find the other more subtle spaceship.

I think I’m going 1960’s sci-fi for my next piece.

Maybe my Barbarella obsession will play into it. Or a mash up of Barbarella and The Wicker Man?

(Yeah, I know The Wicker Man is 1970’s horror, but this is how my mind works. I could just do a post on my favorite movies then a painting incorporating images from each. That could be completely surreal.)

Stay tuned to see what my brain conjures up.

*prize= a smile and my thinking you’re as cool a sci-fi nerd as me
